“MARKET REPORT “

Re. Cumin seeds:

The market is calm ;Demand is there but limited, offers are limited;

However, Prices are stable but has no support to go up; we need more signs from International market and especially India, to see the market direction, as Indian new crop 2018 arriving is picking up on daily basis, it’s more certain now that 2017 crop was normal average crop, and new crop 2018 seeding is going to end soon, even it’s affected by clashes on some areas of plantation;  some Roads are disturbed by some clashes and there is no change on government export regulations . However, all ports are working fine.

Re. Anise seeds :

Market is bearish; demands are moderate ;offers are limited too, Last crop was relatively less and moderate crop; Turkish Anise seed is higher than Syrian one but the quality is different, we don’t expect any movement in the market before the new crop of both origins Syrian and Turkish.

Re. Coriander seeds:

Market is firm , demands are from local speculators, and it’s considered good , local offers are available , price is the same, effected by the cheap coriander offered  by eastern Europe 2017 crops,

new crop of Indian is expected to be less, but there are still goods on the floor from previous crops.

RE. Nigella seeds  :

Market is firm, demands are higher than offer, most of the cargo in a strong hands, also it’s higher in India, we may see an activity soon as we are approaching Ramadan,  seeding is going on and we are expecting a relatively less planted areas.

Re. Laurel leaves ;

The crop is almost finished , the available quality now is lower than before .

Re. Almond ;
