Re. Cumin seeds

Actually during & after Al Eid Holiday the price of cumin has increased  due to many reasons ,.

Heavy demands & lack of local offers -as the local traders are holding the cargo ,” cause  strong demands  were for the Syrian  cumin who had  competitive price internationally , ” even the crop was expected to be big” but  the yield was not  at that expected level , Although  the crop is considered bigger than before but not so much as anticipation “.

Also  the exporters are trying to buy now to cover their sale contracts which was done before Al- Eid holiday & before the increase of price . , beside Indian cumin prices went up due GST implementation.

 

Major Roads are stable  in general  ; but still  the problem of electricity shortage; all ports are working fine, and containers are exported smoothly.

The government  regulations of no change, and the volatile  of local currency is less than before .

 

Re. Anise seeds :

The harvest has finished , and it is known “now”!that the crop is less than last year  and the stocks   of last crop became limited which led to  sharp increase in prices of a few hundred of dollars, Demands are there, “eyes also on the Turkish crop developing, and recent rains affecting the crop estimation there.

 

Re. Coriander seeds:

As the new crop is small and  a lot quantities have been shipped , the local traders who got the goods in cheaper price before are holding the cargo now  which led  to sharp increase in the price .

RE. Nigella seeds  :

Market is quiet & slow  , price is stable at low level ,

 

Re. Laurel leaves :

New crop is good  this year , offers are available with competitive price  , demands are increasing specially from Arabic  countries & Asia  .

Price is available on demands .
